The first time I went skiing, when I was 7 years old, I hated it. What was wrong with me? The second time I went skiing, my dad wore his boots on the wrong feet, and I couldn't wait to go to the video arcade. By the third time I went skiing, I was hooked, chronically addicted to the Weather Channel, and bugging my parents to take me skiing, skipping school, to get some rare southern New York powder. And so my love for the mountains began, and evolved, from chasing first chairs in the north east and learning to tele on three pins and leather boots at Mad River, to stepping on to my first glacier in New Zealand, with eyes bigger than fish bowls. Now I have found a way to make a career out of instilling this same love in everyone else and showing them the best snow in the best places at that moment in time. For me being a mountain guide allows me to live my dream and fulfill other folks dreams.

Now each season sees me exploring mountain ranges such as the Selkirks, Coast Range, Cascades, Wasatch, Chugach, etc....going further, higher, faster and longer than ever before! I guess I am so excited to see what lays over the next mountain pass.
